Adding a Google Map:

There are a few ways to add a google map to your site. One way seemed quite difficult, especially for my skill level. This way uses Google Maps API. Google Maps API allows you embed Google Maps in your own website using JavaScript. The other is quite easy-and thats what I used. First, you go to google maps and locate the place of interest. Once you have gotten the map, in the upper left-click on the "Link" button. From here, you are able to copy the code for the map and insert it into your code.

Why Important:

Having a Google Map on my site was very easy, but it is extremely useful tool to have. By putting a google map onto your webpage, it helps your audience know exactly where you're talking about or where you are located. It is especially good for a company or place of business. A viewer can then use the map to get driving directions to your location. And this helps your business flow.
